Acoustic
& orchestral music with a Native American flare.
This
album was created by traveling throughout the US, and digitally
recording the unique sounds of various trees being rubbed,
tapped & shaken. These one of a kind recordings were then
computer processed, transforming them into actual musical notes
(and percussion sounds), to be played on a synthesizer. They
were then used to record compositions on-location in a mobile
recording studio at Sedona, the Rockies, Yosemite and other
natural areas of wonder and beauty. Trees from Yosemite (which
have since been destroyed by fire) were used in "Yosemite
Memories" and special Sedona trees in "Sedona Sultree".
You will also notice occasional Native American Chants (Sioux)
gracing the acoustic musical reflections. Songs include:
Ghost Song, Elf dance, Sedona Sultree, Yosemite Memories.
